Founding Hive Partner Program

Help us grow the honey side of Morning Penni Farm.

The Founding Hive Partner Program is a small, first round offer created to help us establish more hives on the farm in a simple, community supported way.

Instead of taking on traditional finance to expand our beekeeping setup, we’re inviting a small number of customers to help fund the core equipment needed to set up new hives. In return, Hive Partners receive a steady supply of Morning Penni Farm honey across the year.

You help fund a hive. We share the honey with you.

This first round is limited to 11 Founding Hive Partner places.

What’s included

Each Founding Hive Partner contributes $500, which helps cover the setup of one new hive, including:

• Bottom board
• 10 frame full deep brood box
• 10 full deep plastic brood frames
• Queen excluder
• 3 ideal super boxes
• 30 ideal plastic comb frames
• In hive feeder
• Lid

What you receive

In return, you’ll receive:

• 2 x 450g jars of Morning Penni Farm honey every month
• Supplied for 12 months
• 24 jars total
• 10.8kg of raw seasonal honey
• Seasonal updates from the hive program
• First access to future honey releases

Honey is a seasonal product, so the flavour, colour and texture may shift throughout the year depending on what the bees are working. That variation is part of what makes raw seasonal honey so special.

Why we’re doing this

Bees are an important part of the wider farm system at Morning Penni Farm.

They support pollination, biodiversity, seasonal production, and long-term resilience. Growing our hive numbers carefully allows us to increase honey production while strengthening the role bees play across the farm landscape.

This program gives our customers a direct way to support that growth while receiving a year of farm honey in return.

Important note

This is not a financial investment and does not provide ownership of the hive, bees, or equipment. The hives remain part of Morning Penni Farm and will be managed by us.

Your contribution funds the hive setup, and you receive honey in return.
